my mother, who works at a bookpublisher, came back from the London Book Fair with the promotionflyers of the official tokio hotel fanbook!! it will be released in autumn 2008.
it will have 150 colour photographs, and it's 112 pages.
omg, I can't wait!! :D
(and it aperantly will be released in america, england and canada to, since the prices are in dolars and pounds aswell)

schwarzkopf & schwarzkopf is publishing it in germany, and the rest of the publishingworld can "buy" the rights of the book. that's why it was on the london book fair!
Idk if the th-team has something to do with it, but I think the bbs did help making it with interviews and so on, at least that is what the summary on the flyer says.

If it´s a hardback one with lots of photos I think it will cost a bit more than 15 Euro...
Similiar books are about 20 - 25 Euro... Because of the different taxes on books it´s a bit cheaper in Germany than in Austria, but not much cheaper

Everything always cost more expensive in Canada, past what the exchange rate can explain. But i've noticed it just being 5 bucks more, not factoring in exchange rates.
But yeah, depending on who publishes, the price'll change.

Dunno. But with taxes in my state, i'd actually have to pay $21.14, and that's at 6%. I hope taxes in Canada aren't that high. I think they pay for more than they do here, but you wouldn't think that'd add on another $8, $9.

It also depends on how much books sell for. If people are buying books of this type for $30, then the publisher can sell this one for that much. Sure, they could sell it for cheaper, but from a business standpoint? If you can sell it for more, do it.

I hadn't thought it out that much. Hardcovers are very nice looking and all but if it's a paperback it's easier to look at and you don't have to worry about the slipcover getting messed up.

They look nice when your book is on the shelf, but for reading, yeah, they're totally obnoxious. I usually take them off to keep them nice but then they get all dusty and I stack stuff on them by mistake. :madknife:
sometimes hardcovers don't have slipcovers.. i prefer hardcovers because they're not that easily to accidentally destroy by carrying them around in the bag with you.

i wonder if this ever was official because it seemed to randomly pop out of no where right and then randomly dissipear.
I wonder what happened to this and if it will make a comeback in some shape or form, I was really looking forward to it!
